ARK: Survival Evolved Drops Its Final Creature Before Its Controversial Shutdown

It’s a bittersweet occasion for next-gen UE5 remake ARK: Survival Ascended.

The Rhyniognatha is inspired by one of the oldest insects in history and is now available on both The Island and Lost Island maps. Unlike modern insects though, the Rhyniognatha is large and deadly with a unique set of skills that will prove extremely useful for those who successfully obtain it. Unfortunately, acquiring one can be a bit challenging as they’re untamable in the wild and tamed ones are unbreedable.

To get one, you’ll have to kill a Rhyniognatha to obtain a Rhyniognatha Pheromone. You’ll then make one of your large dino’s eat the pheromone. With the large dino in tow, you’ll need to hunt down a female Rhyniognatha and reduce its health down to less than 10%. Once that’s done, the Rhyniognatha will impregnate the large dino, which you’ll then need to feed certain types of food until your Rhyniognatha is born.
